Painting time since last post: 0 hours (kids up late again, then sorting out family finances till late)

Recently saw an exhibition of Paula Rego's recent pastels at the Abbots Hall gallery in Kendal - SUPERB! Very inspiring - I've never seen pastels look so good. Always assumed that pastels were a bit of a wuss as far as 'real' paintings were concerned. Must buy some and have a go...
